I ordered the green jacket thinking this would be a color that would be a little more exciting than some of your basic colors. The color is OK but it allows for the color of the down feathers to be seen through the material. I found I was constantly doing a "double take" to see if there was something on the jacket only to realize, "oh, that's just the feathers underneath". This overall seems to cheapen the jacket for me. Maybe one of the more basic colors, being darker anyway, would not allow for this observation. The jacket is very lightweight and I'm sure would be warm but I did not try it out. I returned for the above reason but also because the jacket ran too short. I am 5'7" and weigh 110lbs, so that is a pretty small frame. I ordered the small jacket which I felt ran slightly small in the torso, but definitely too short in length and sleeve length. When I bent my elbows the sleeves raised to 3/4 length.

The weight of this jacket is just right! So light and warm and comfortable - perfect for fall. The color is a bit brighter than expected so I have already received comments from family and co-workers along the lines of, "Wow, that's bright!" I like it and my family can't lose me in a crowd now.

The color is pretty from a distance however up close you can see the black feathers and this makes the coat look stained. I am between a size 10 and 12 and ordered the large. it was too big overall especially where the sleeves meet the front of the chest. The jacket is going back.
Sorry there is not a temperature rating. Most manufacturers do not have temperature ratings for their garments or footwear due to the number of factors that affect how warm a garment may keep you.

Gayle from NY, this jacket would not be adequate for below freezing temperatures for very long! I will probably wear mine under a parka for subzero temps. Think of it as a down sweater.
