This has to be one of the most comfortable winter hats I've ever owned! It is a little odd looking--the side flaps do fly out to the side like in one of the photos (hoping they'll settle down), and the asymmetrical brim is interesting but not necessarily balancing. Anyway, I do love this hat--the ... Read More

I really like the light weight warmth and the brown and mustard colors. The flaps are fine with me. If it's not too cold, you can roll the corners of the flaps a little with your thumb and index finger which gives them an extra flair.

I bought this hat last year in the black with red and it's become a favorite for its style, comfort, and warmth. Unlike some other reviewers, I've noticed no problems with flaps...they seem to stay put just fine on mine. The wool is non-itchy and the fit is just right. Not normally a hat person, but this one actually looks pretty good on me! Love it!

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned that there is no lining in the hat, just a wide elastic sewn all the way around the inside of the hat. I don't think it's very comfortable. It is extremely well made and the wool is beautiful. I just won't be able to wear it for long periods of time.

This is a really well made, eclectically unusual, warm wool hat. Its asymmetrical front flap is held up by a bit of Velcro. The ear flaps do just kind of flap. I picked up some Velcro and added a sticky spot on each side of the hat for the flaps. Turned out great ( if I do say so myself) Might be an option Asian Eye could add. It makes it a much more stylish and usable hat. STP's price was great!
