I ordered these as a present so I haven't had a chance to try them out but I have the Male version of the same shoe and love them. The ascent heel lift thingamajiggies are a plus. They also seem to be superior to other brands in ascents having watched fellow snowshoers ascend with there more tubular framed web shoes. You won't go wrong for the price.
