Bought this for a small (12 lb) dog. It is a great leash, quality construction. The only issue is that the spring for the leash return is pretty tight, and because my dog isn't a big puller, he has trouble extending it. This leash is the worst leash I have ever experienced...worse than the cheap ones I have purchased at Walmart as backups. I received it cracked because the plastic is a joke and I'm certain it probably got bumped in shipping. Yes, it is the that weak. Plus the leash part doesn't function (retract) very well. I was expecting a solid product when I ordered it and I was extremely disappointed. Don't get it.

I hadn't used one of these before, but we needed to keep our new very small dog controlled at all times til she was used to us and her surroundings, as she is very flighty. I didn't like that the line is so lightweight, like a ribbon, that is twists and tangles easily, but dont' really have any else to compare to, except the usual 6 ft leads.
