I have other pairs of 226es, and I'm always on the lookout to buy more when discounts drop the price into the low $20-range, as they are my absolute favorite training bottoms. The lower leg band is a little tighter than normal on this pair, but it's not a big deal.

    I have other pairs of 226es, and I'm always on the lookout to buy more when discounts drop the price into the low $20-range, as they are my absolute favorite training bottoms. The lower leg band is a little tighter than normal on this pair, but it's not a big deal.

    Not only are these shorts attractive and functional (the amount of chamois is just right for bike rides of under 30 miles), they are also sturdy. I took a fall on my bike over the weekend (went down hard right on my left hip/glute), and the fabric showed no damage at all.

    I'm 5'4", and an athletic/curvy 135#, and I wear a medium in these, for those of you looking for a size reference.
