Well made medium weight all purpose boot. Sized small as noted, so buy next size larger. I am using them out of the box for getting round in our rural area and have put several miles on them so far. The weather has been cold ( like 10 F) and the snow deep (> foot); they are working great and the high tongue and well fitted Achilles keeps the snow out and the foot dry and warm. I look forward to warm weather hiking and back packing with them soon!

The material quality and look of the boot was good but unlike most Hi-Tec boots I've worn over the years this model has a narrow build towards the toe and I usually wear medium width footwear. In fact the boot felt tight even mid-foot and the foot bed and arch support were not up to normal HT specs.

Great fit. Feet feel very secure and well protected. Excellent toe guard. Heel to toe slope promotes easy walking. Great for walking dogs on mini-ranch and hiking through the woods. Just one pair of hooks promotes quick lace up. High tongue offers some protection and comfort to lower leg.
I wear an 8 1/2 in good dress shoe. Got boot in 9 1/2 to accomodate a good wool blend hiking sock. Just right. Can still wiggle toes.

Tight foot entry with gusset design is only negative but most gusseted boots are a tight squeeze. Back pull loop takes care of it.

These seemed to be quality boots however they just did not have a good feel to them. The ankle was cut low and the tongue was very high and thick. The soles seemed sturdy and grippy.

    Light weight with good support
