These are great snowshoes. I forget that I have them on. There is no slipping of the bindings, and I walk along on ungroomed hiking trails very steadily.

Bought 2 pair of these (or should I say Santa brought them) for Christmas for my hubby and me. We are cross country skiers and wasn't sure if he was even interested in snowshoeing. His reaction was "Never thought about doing this!?!?". Now I can't get him to put the skis back on, he loves going up and down the hills, into the ravines and even on icy surfaces with our new snowshoes!!! Easy to get on and off. Well made and lightweight. Unlike XC skiing where you want to have a groomed trail, you can go anywhere!!!! I wanted to support a company from a neighboring state (my brother from CO says they're the best brand). Glad I chose Red Feather! We LOVE them:)

These are my first snowshoes and I will have to say I'm glad I went with these shoes. I've hiked through Collins Marsh with them twice now and they worked great! I'm 5'10" and range from 190lbs to 210lbs and over fresh powder I sunk about 5" to 10" , that may seem like a lot but considering I was on top of very tall grass it was easy walking. I went right into the places I cant get to when there is open water in the marsh. the claws on the bottom of the shoes are great and I would have to say I was able move very well. The quality is great, they didnt come loose and they are easy to put on and take off. I only wish they made some in a darker color/camo.
