The jacket description does not make it clear that it _does_ have pit zips (an absolute necessity, in my opinion). The jacket fits well, does a great job of keeping you dry and warm, packs small, and is great for hiking. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to a friend (or to buy another!).

Water repeled off the jacket. Kept very dry and also stayed warm againest the wind. I am 5 ft 4 inches. 135 pounds and the medium fit great with one or Two layers.

I am 5'6", 145lbs and bought a large, which fits well with some extra room for layering. I really like the hood design, it's very versatile and adjustable. I wish the cuffs had elastic in addition to adjustable velcro closing. I also wish the zipper flap had velcro or snap closure in the middle of the jacket instead of just at the ends. Other than those little criticisms, its waterproof-ness seems great so far and breathability as expected for Gore-tex. In short, I recommend this jacket!

I ordered this jacket after using my aunt's on a trip to Flagstaff, AZ. It is thin enough that I could stuff it into my backpack to take it out as needed and perfect for layering. Every day it was raining and this jacket saved me from hiking in soaked clothes (too bad it couldn't save my cousins as well!). I loved using my aunt's jacket so much that I ordered my own and am even more in love with it!

Great product,, but the velcro on the sleeves is not very 'sticky'.

Overall not a bad rain jacket and probably good quality. I returned it however. It was too big and the material did not have a good feel to it (for being gore-tex). I got the Fjallraven eco-trail instead which I like a lot.
