Most Helpful 5-Star Review

Pants are great! They are warm, waterproof, breathable but not bulky. They are a smidge to long, I am only 5'4" so that's to be expected, but there are still very functional. The front pockets fit my cell phone nicely, there isn't a whole lot of room but they zip to keep belongings secure. Just wore... Read More

I am not about to proudly announce my weight, but I'll give you my height. I am 5'10". Let's just say I'm well north of 170. Anyway, the xl fit great. Plenty of room for momma's junk in the trunk, ( which comes skiing with me whether I want it to, or not). Just skied 2 days in them and they performed great! Very comfortable, and the green matches my helmet! Very good product. And Derailed got everything to me before I left on vacation, ( 5 days to ship), so I am a happy camper all around!

I am 5'8" and weigh about 140 and have long legs and athletic build, these fit me great. they actually have a little stretch to them and can be adjusted at the waist by velco. I would reccomend the Medium if you are like my size. They are so warm and cozy, much more warmer then my north face bibs I usually wear. I got these as a second set of ski pants because the green color was something fun, but I find myself grabbing them every time i go slkiing now.

So I REALLY wanted to love these pants. They have almost everything right - just enough insulation, not too bulky, nice pockets, not so high that they come up to my ribs. Only one problem...they are not for straight body types. I bought the large based on the sizing chart but was concerned because I'm sometimes M sometimes L. In this case I don't think either would have fit. I will say that they are a GENEROUS large. By that I mean without the tabs pulled in they are HUGE. BUT the tabs allow you to pull in the waist and I can make then fit my waist quite nicely. Problem is that this gives you somewhat of a hefty cinch sack look in the back and it does not take in the hip area. With the waist pulled in the hips look even larger than they were when I first put them on. If they had a M in black I might be tempted to exchange them to see if the M fit both waist and hip. But without that I may need to send them back. So...if you are straight figured with little difference between your waist and hip these may not be the right pants for you. If you have a bit of a curve, these are fantastic pants. And I didn't find them extremely long like some reviewers. I am only 5'2" and while they were a bit long, with boots they'd be fine.

I am slightly taller than 5' 8", weigh 138 lbs and am slightly long-waisted. The medium fit perfectly despite my having a narrow waist. The legs are roomy enough without looking baggy. I love all the pockets! Two in front, two on the rear and one small pocket near the shin. The length was just right and the green color rocks! The style is slightly sporty, very comfortable, and warm enough.
