My son loves these gloves! He is an avid outdoor kid and has yet to complain of his hands getting wet. We live in the Northern Rockies, so our harsh winter season hasn't hit us yet, but he's been using them outside continuously since he got them a month ago. They'll be good for the Spring and so far they seem to be good Fall gloves. The size seems to run true to the sizing chart.
