I was tempted to order 2 more pair of these comfortable, sturdy light trail runners. Had a pair for the last year and have enjoyed, was pleased to find them for a great price at STP. Ended up getting 1 pair as a replacement and donated my old kicks. Had the pleasure of wearing the new ones a few days ago--very nice.

I ordered this shoe because of the price, couldn't beat it. Man, is it a steal! I wear a size 10 and I ordered a size 10 although a lot of the reviews were saying that it fits small. Right out of the box they fit perfectly. I like to wear bike socks when I run and these work great with this shoe. I went out and ran 2 miles literally the first time I wore them and they felt great...no hot spots or rubbing anywhere. The mid foot grips the foot great and the wide toe box gives your toes some breathing room while adding some width to the platform for added stability. Your heel kind of sits in a c-shaped disc instead of sitting on top of cushion, feels like your heel is being cradled while running. My hind foot and ankle feel very secure in this shoe. I never run on the road, hate it. I only run trails. I live in rural Colorado so don't think I consider a dirt road to be trail running. I have miles and miles of singletrack out my back door of varying elevation. The treads grip great, no slippage. The heel has added width to it also which helps with stability while running downhill. Overall a great, great shoe for middle distance running. If you're running trail marathons and anything in the ultra-distances I would probably go with something else. I don't think the cushioning would hold up to that much abuse.

I ran a 100 miler on these shoes, only got a little hot spot below my left inside ankle, I wear them everyday, and have run a 100 miler, two 50ks, and the tread is still looking good and the cushioning. Think I am going to stock up on these.

Here's the good: looks good, light weight, god arch support, great lace system
Here's the bad: not true to size (runs small), feels like wearing high heels, weird fit.
Had to return at the end.

This isn't the lightest/minimalist shoe on the market but it's a gem in it's class. Excellent support that conforms nicely around my foot, anyway. Light, breathable, excellent traction for running around the city or down the trial.

  • Question “How is the sizing on these? Do they run big, small, wide, or narrow?”
Asked on 3/9/2014 9:32:55 PM by Running in the Hills from NY
    • Answer They are true to size.
Answered on 3/10/2014 4:56:12 AM by Run from here to there from PA
    • Answer They seem roomy. Length was accurate, but just alot of room for feet to slide. I have a long narrow foot, but there is a great deal of movement even after lacing them up tighter. Overall, I was a little disappointed. Look nice, though.
