the Filson cargo are the ideal work pant. there are pockets om the right places. Ii do a lot o work that requires being on hands and knees. the fabric on these pants is light weight enough that they are not too hot to wear and yet it is sturdy to withstand my crawling through my muddy acre garden when weeding & planting. The fit is true to size, not too tight & roomy enough to allow good movement.
These pants look nice enough, i can run my errands in them before i start my work. . i replaced wearing jeans daily jeans with wearing these to do all my household work 7 projects. they work great for mei hope they do for you too. i got them on sale at a great price! try them & you won't be sorry!

the good: really roomy pockets and wide legs for boots. the bad: Velcro pockets UGH! Also, too big in waist and hips. The cargo pockets are higher on the pant leg than I prefer. The overall look is very "masculine". A very basic cotton pant. I can'timagine anyone paying the full price for these let alone what I paid.

Hands down great field pants! Bought multiple pairs. Sturdy, not too heavy. Hold up to hiking days on end in the woods. Size is on target. Would recommend to field going people.

These pants are really comfortable and seem to be really well made. The fabric is a bit lighter than what I expected. Cargo pockets are great for carrying your phone. Waist pockets seem pretty deep too. I wear size 8-10 w/ 32inch inseam. The size 10's fit me very well and are plenty long. They wash well and dry very fast. I put in dryer for about 10 minutes then was going to hang and finish letting them air dry. Well, they were already dry!
Only thing I don't like is that they tend to show fuzzies and pet hair. Will buy another pair when they go on sale again.

Great utility or field pants. I ordered two pairs of these, 1 Navy and 1 Khaki. In both the fabric, dye continuity, and worksmanship is flawless. They are cut loose and slightly large. Given that the material is 100% cotton, I expect some shrinkage and hope that I can get the waist area to shrink smaller for me however, they do not fall off the hips which makes them suitable for wear as is. I kept both pairs and rate these at five stars for fabric and workmanship.
