Lightweight, plenty of room for an APS-C DSLR setup (standard 2.8 zoom, a couple of primes, a flash, and various bits and bobs) while maintaining enough space for everyday needs — computer compartment is very useful and the bag is quite overstuffable. And it fits perfectly under an airline seat.

I found what I was looking for. I needed a backpack for photo equipment and for different things like food. Dakin? is the best brand for backpacks and I say this after a couple of purchases. In addition, the seller is very nice, the price is fair and it was quickly delivered the goods.

Thoughtfully designed camera backpack. It is more than I require in space and a tad too heavy for short day excursions.

Bought this for an upcoming hiking trip where I want to fit more than my DSLR and lenses in the pack. But I also wanted a pack that I can use for travel that will also accommodate my laptop. After looking at several packs including a similar model in Clik Elite (backpacker pro with computer sleeve) and the Lowepro (Photo Sport 200 - no laptop sleeve), I opted for this one with price being a key driver. The only thing this bag is missing is a hydration section / holder. I hope to use a bladder in the laptop section - it looks like it will work if I can create a fastener to hold the top in place and purchase a tube holder for the shoulder strap. I used the bag yesterday for the first time for a local shoot (no hiking) and it worked great. Observations thus far, it would helpful to have a few more "zip" pockets for odds and ends camera gear. The bag is a bit heavier (1+ lbs) than the other bags I looked at. Bag is sturdy and well made. I like the fact that the camera section looks like it has waterproof zippers and stiff well supported padded frame. My Macbook Pro, 15" fits fine the laptop sleeve and there is actually space next to the padded laptop sleeve for a thin notebook or file folders. Space on top is adequate for a lunch and windbreaker (or even to put a small pocket book in for business travel). Wish the cover was tucked in or attached (it is stored in a pocket and separate. Overall, the bag is well padded and sturdy and I like the concept of a padded hip belt to distribute the weight. I have a smaller frame and it appears this bag is adjustable enough to work for me for hiking. I will likely pick up another one for my husband.

As for camera gear, yesterday's shoot I had my Nikon D600 with a 28-300mm lens attached. Also, fit in my micro and my wide angle lenses. Extra battery and chips, accessories, etc. I did not attach my tripod. There was plenty of room in the camera section and of course, lots of room in the other areas as I only brought my camera gear, phone and wallet.

    Overall, very pleased.
