I love everything about this hoodie. It's a heavier weight than the typical baselayer Icebreaker, but not too thick. It runs a bit small and is form fitting, so size up if you want to wear a layer underneath. I bought the Gulf color and it's a bright aqua blue.

Love Icebreaker's 320 wool garments. Have two of these hoodies. The colors are great and the cut is very flattering. I suppose it's a bit more fitted than some of Icebreaker's mid layers, at least those with full zips, but the fit (width-wise) seems about the same as my other slim 1/4 zip Icebreaker midlayer 320 garments. If anything, it’s a bit larger in the waist/through the middle.

This model is a couple years old and fits me better than Icebreaker's current garments. It's long, like current designs (~2-3 inches longer than my older Icebreakers) but the waist has the old fit, i.e. it's higher than current models, which is part of what makes this fit very flattering. The narrowest part of this sweater lands at my waist instead of below it like the current models. I'm 5’4” and most of my height is in my legs. I can't wear petites because my shoulders are typically too broad and my arms and legs too long. I used to have some difficulty finding clothing that wasn’t too long waisted but have had it easy in last 5 years or so. Many companies seem to have discovered that higher waists flatter every body type and allow garments to fit a broader range of people/heights. The higher waistline makes a garment wearable for me, but is even more flattering on taller or longer waisted people on whom it’ll land above their natural waistline. Should probably also mention that I’m 110-115 lbs, slim, but very curvy. I usually wear an XS in Icebreaker. (And if an XS is too small in the bust, as sometimes happens, I’m out of luck because the S is ALWAYS way too long waisted, whether the old Icebreaker fit or the new.) That said, those with straighter figures, or at least with narrow hips, might not suffer the matronly effect of a garment that’s too low waisted.

Haven’t had any issue with the pockets sticking out on my sweaters, although one is a tiny bit ripply compared to the other that lays perfectly flat.

I regularly wear my 320 sweaters for running and cross country skiing in 20F and colder temps, but haven’t worn these two for fitness activities. For just knocking around, I wear my 320's from fall to late spring.

This one is very form fitting. Pockets also puffed out in a weird way.
