This is my third pair of these slippers, over the course of 7 years! I have wide feet and they are plenty roomy! So soft and warm inside, with durable leather outside. They have a FIRM foam sole. I was expecting them to be soft and squishy when I bought my first pair. I will admit that I was a ... Read More

I've worn a similar version that I've gotten from STP for many years in the natural color. They've lasted about 3 years until they've worn down; backs ultimately separate from the soles...fluffy soles flatten. They were the most comfortable slippers ever. With foot problems, the fluffy insoles were what kept my loyalty, despite the price. This version, in black, didn't have the same comfort or fluffiness in the sole. Soft yes, but not comfort or support.

This is a very nice shoe.. Soft fabric, appropriate size, warm inside. Suitable for winter. STP is a good store, I hope to receive a more favorable email code, such as 90%OFF, SHIPING FREE....

I wear 'em in the house all winter. I love 'em.

They are suede. The darker colors show soil and stains much less than the light colored ones.

Let me start by saying that I love Sierra Trading Post and the deals they offer. Hence this is said with no judgment against Sierra Trading Post, they may not be aware of this fact that I am about to speak of.

Being a lover of truthfulness, I research almost everything I can. And you don't have to take my word on this; you can look it up yourself. This information is all over the internet, it has been in the news, and you can watch videos of the fur trade in China online.

Fur that comes out of China is from tortured animals. A common way of slaughtering the animals for their skin is to skin them alive, boil them alive and many other diabolical ways. And this is a fact, more than half of all of the fur products in the world is produced in China and from these types of producers (sick people…mental illness at its peak). They will mislabel the fur as other animal names such as "sheep skin” but in truth it is skinned dogs or cats! Also, they will dye the fur to make it look like other types of fur. Since this is labeled 'Made in China', there is no doubt the animals that were USED to create this product were horrifically killed!

This is a horrific unthinkable practice! Do the research yourself! I love cozy comfortable products too, but not at the expense of another's suffering.

Please note; I have not named any specific originations as to respect this website I am on, making no links in affiliation. JUST HUMOR ME, EVEN FOR A SHORT MOMENT, DO YOUR OWN PERSONAL RESEARCH! Humans have the capacity for making great change where it matters!

I just purchased my 4th pair of these slippers over the last 5 years. They are the most comfortable house slippers I have ever worn. I put them on when I get home from work and wear them until I go to bed. Weekends I wear them whenever I am in the house. I have also purchased them for my 2 sons and their wives for Christmas presents. I am totally sold on them.

    • Answer You can either wear them folded down as in the display picture or you and have them unfolded to cover the ankle a little more. I usually keep mine folded down because I get too hot unfolded but for those cold rainy days I'll unfold it. I've had them now for about 2 weeks and I never take them off while I'm home. I wore them out grocery shopping twice too.
