Great sleeper, especailly for the 'active sleeper whom turns over frequently'. In combination with a good sleeping pad, its a great nights rest for 3 seasons. The bag is well constructed, and extra head pillow area is great for those who prefer a littl mor pillow area rather than take a second pill...

The good thing thing is that there is plenty of room inside for bigger guys. The bad news is that it is very big and heavy when rolled up for travel and storage. This bag is serious about warmth and insulation. Definitely not for hiking or light packing. I anticipate it lasting many years though with good appeared quality.

I'm obviously getting old (along with my sleeping bag) because I was tired of being cold and cramped every time I went camping with my 20-year-old bag. I finally decided on this bag for its roominess and warmth factor. This monster will never be a hiking bag, but we're doing far more car camping than the trekking we used to do pre-parenthood anyway. It is so well padded I didn't even use the air mattress last time, and I stayed warm and cozy even with the fly off our tent and temperatures getting down into the high 30s. I could probably even fit a small child or two in there with me if their sleeping bags didn't do the job!
