Surprisingly good quality for the price. Soft, warm fabric. Good zippers, pockets and stitching. Well constructed. I'm about 150 lb and 5'11" with a 33" waist and this fit a little bit snug on me. Not overly tight, but snug. That's okay since I intend on wearing this as a layer under a down ja...

sporty looking and fleece was thick but didn't like pocket placement; nice product but doesn't work for husband; also cut of one shoulder had an odd gapping that didn't lay right; might not be a problem on a thinner fellow.

I can't stop wearing it! It's very comfortable and does a decent job to keep me warmer. We keep our house cooler during the day during the winter months and I still work from home.
It's pretty nice with a long sleeved shirt for brief excursions outside, but need a shell or jacket for anything longer than that. (unless sledding or snowshoeing, then you warm up pretty quick with it!)
In effect yes the two front zipper pockets are created such that there are open top pockets between the pocket material and the front of the vest. Give our take each one has a 3.5 inches opening at the top around 5-8 inches wide and 11 inches deep. (added a photo should be up within the next 72 hours if not a but before)

No inside pockets. Just a simple, fairly heavy fleece vest at a very good price.

I see others have responded that there are no inside pockets. This is odd, because I own two of these vests and both have inside pockets! The inside pockets are located directly behind the outside pockets, but on the inside.

No inside pockets on this vest...

Just read the other answers... To clarify, there is a space accessible from the inside which appears to be pockets directly behind the fabric that exists to create the exterior pockets. However, there is a 2-3" opening at the bottom where items would fall out of you put them in this interior "pocket".

The zipper is pretty standard. Not sure specifically what you mean by "embroidery behind the zipper", but there is a flap of fabric behind one side of the zipper that serves as a storm shield. I've attached a picture that is hopefully better than the one in the catalogue. Hope it helps...

No embroidery in my vest. The backing of the pockets is lighter in color, so that is what you may be seeing. It is not visible when wearing the vest.

There isn't embroidery behind the zipper.

There is a Double Diamond symbol and logo discreetly in black lower left side which can be seen online when you zoom in. Also on the outside rear center of the collar there is another of the Diamond symbols without the lettering. Inside is generally all black other than behind the pockets and center upper chest. which are both in a simple gray. All in all a nice quality fleece vest, a bit more weight than say a typical 200 weight fleece but nothing too bulky about it at all. Looks rather nice and fitting, using it for both outdoors and a nice add to a professional button down shirt when you want a little extra warmth, but still need to look professional without too many crazy logos allover.
