Bought two Mediums for my children - 9/10 years old, both slim and 52inches tall - they are considered small for their ages. Fits a little loose on them at the moment but they love the softness and comfort. The fleece feels completely warm and is perfect for our ski trip to Canada. Would buy agai...

Nothing spectacular here, but with the STP savings it was a good value. Given how kids outgrow things, I don't want to overspend on clothing. My daughter is 54" tall, 70 pounds; son is 53" tall and 62 pounds. The small fit both almost perfectly. But they both have skinny legs and the legs were still fairly snug.

I ordered three of these, and XS, S and M I found they ran tall and slim. The XS especially. The small fit my 6 year old well around the waist, but was too tall, so I rolled up the cuff on the bottom. That fit him with room to grow. The small also fit my 4 year old well with the cuffs folded up (he's bigger/wider framed than his older brother). The XS was just the right length for them but was way too slim and tight around the legs. I may consider cutting off the cuff because it is a double layer of thick fleece and I think will be too much bulk with wool socks and over pants inside of winter boots.
The fabric was nice and thick fleece and very cozy, my boys didn't want to take them off. They would be good for just lounging and sleeping in, as well as a warm base layer under some loose pants (or just by themselves under snow pants).
For a tall slim kid I think these would work really well, otherwise I'd buy a little large and cut off the bottom cuff.
