I've had these baselayer pants about five months now, and I'm still really happy with them.
Sizing: size down. I'm 5'8", 150lbs, 29 waist and 40 hips, normally size 8 or 10 in pants, and the small fits really well. My mom also tried on a small, but she's smaller than I am, and they didn't work f...

These are way oversized. I usually wear or 14 or 12. I fit in the size S easily. The waistband came up over my ribs in front, i.e. almost up to my bra. I am not short. I'm not tall, either, but at 5' 5 1/2 '', I'm slightly taller than the average U.S. woman. I had ignored the previous reviews that point out they are high waisted, because I thought this just meant they aren't the current usual very low waisted style. They are so big around the hips that when I held a size S pair in front of my size 14 self, my hips were completely hidden. If they'd lower the waist and call them sweatpants, they'd be perfect, because the material is nice and thick. Way too loose to be a real base layer.

When I tried these on for the first time, I was amazed. They are so comfortable and extremely warm. I wear them under my regular pants and what a difference they have made in my ability to keep warm. Thank you so much!

i thnk these are too bulky to wear as a base layer, but awesome as you would wear sweatpants. Very warm and I would even say similar to WindStopper material as ai wore them walking my dogs on a cold and windy day and never felt the wind come through the pants. I am 5'7" and 135lbs and the S are perfect in length. Very soft fleece; could also wear to bed on a very cold night although you might be too warm. For the price, these are great!
