I am 6'0" 195lbs with a 36" waist and 32" inseam. The Large was a little long and plenty roomy. I maybe could fit in a Medium, but its not so bad that I would return them. Perhaps some of you can use this as a reference.
I'm not sure I would consider these a midweight. They're a bit on the light side of midweight. On the other hand, they're not the thin kind of polyester/spandex base layer either. I haven't tried them in the cold so maybe they will prove to be warmer than they seem. The quality of construction appears to be good.

I am going to Patagonia and Antarctica next January and these are just what I was looking for. I got 2 pair of these and the Lightweight model so I can alternate as needed. Being summer right now, I haven't proven that they will work, but they are light weight fit well and I can tell from the material they will do the job. Hope to update this next year...
