I think these are thee best jeans I've had in ages, especially for the price. They are mid-weight, so I can wear them year-round, they hold their shape, not too much spandex and they FIT my NATURAL WAIST. HOORAY!!! After receiving the first pair (blue), I ordered a second pair in black. I've ordered... Read More

I just don't have the shape for the really low cut jeans but don't want to end up wearing "mom jeans". These button at your waist but still fit nice and look good. I even think they are more flattering on me than the model in the picture and I'm a bit larger than her I'm sure. For the price - you can't go wrong.

I loved these but the R was way too long for me.

I purchased a few of these jeans, in different colors, and they all fit similarly well. I wear a size 12, with 30-inch inseam, and these fit me perfectly. They are not trendy, with the waist buttoning right over my navel, but they are not skin-tight or too baggy, either. I like them, and wear them often.

However, when I bought the Bryton shorts, the poplin ones were snug. Since the denim ones fit, it may be assumed that all Bryton-style bottoms in denim fit true to size.

Not too low riding, long enough, but a smidge too roomy. I do like these jeans and but normally I don't call pants too roomy. So consider they run a good size.

  • Question “Do these 'bootcut' jeans have a flared leg or are the legs just wider than the 'straight leg' version.”
Asked on 6/5/2014 10:19:26 PM by BellasMomToo from San Francisco, CA
    • Answer Yes, it's a flared leg (a moderate flare), not just a wider version of a straight-leg design.

    • Answer These jeans are just wider than straight, not flared. I hope that was what you were looking for because they are very nice jeans and I would buy them again.

    • Answer Hi, they are just a little wider, not a bell at all.
Answered on 6/6/2014 7:07:14 AM by RandiR from NYC
    • Answer The legs are wider, but not too wide. There is no big flare at the bottom.

Answered on 6/6/2014 7:08:17 AM by Ma Roach from Ca Foothills
    • Answer They are not flared (like 70's jeans); they are just wider and fit easily over boots.
Answered on 6/6/2014 9:14:16 AM by Sunshine Maui from Forestville, CA
    • Answer They're *slightly* wider at the bottom. I laid them out and looked carefully & could barely see the flare, so it's certainly not obvious. I don't think you would think of them as flared when you have them on.

    • Answer Hi, Bellasmom! I wouldn't call these "flared" exactly, these are cut 17" at the bottom, across the knee is 16 1/2" so no marked Flare, just a little..yet they move when you walk unlike a straight-leg. These are not baggy yet not tight either, just 'easy' without being quite straight up and down.
You might measure your favorite existing jeans flat for the exact comparison. I love these jeans and they look just right on me. 5' tall, hip 37" waist 27" and bought a size 10. Hope this helps, 'ol chum! :)

    • Answer They do have a slight flare, just as I would expect for a bootcut. I did try the straight leg jeans also, but the cut was uncomplimentary on me. The bootcuts were much more flattering.

    • Answer The leg does not flare. I folded the bottom up to just below the knee and they are the same width. They do not taper in like "straight" leg jeans. These jeans a nice mid to light weight denim that is great for summer.
Answered on 6/7/2014 8:50:53 AM by Janet from Florida
    • Answer Wow! Great question! I have both the straight leg and the bootcut versions of this jean. I laid the straight leg over the bootcut on my bed. The bootcut is just a bit wider in the thigh (<1"), and begins tapering wider at the knee. The total difference at the hem, between straight leg and bootcut is 5" on size 14. Unlike my bellbottoms of the 70's, these do not cut out from the knee sharply.

I like them, and find the pants to be flattering. They are a true 14...unfortunately, I am now a 12! The fabric is substantial, and the stretch is comfortable, and not girdle-like.
