These fit fairly tight, and that is what I wanted. Great socks!

As recommended I ordered Medium as I wear a 10 or 10 and a half shoe. Socks seem a tad small though. Maybe they'll stretch a bit with wear. Nice looking & well made.

I love these socks - warm but not hot in any conditions, and as advertised: "never stinky" it's amazing. I wear a lot of Icebreaker stuff, and the socks are the best I've ever had!

Color as pictured. Also ordered in another color. Good fit with light support in arch. Pilled a little bit with first wear but recommend this product.

  • Question “What does "2nds" mean?”
Asked on 5/4/2015 6:38:22 PM by David from DC
    • Answer Usually has some slight flaw. I'm sure the term varies from company to company. I can see absolutely nothing wrong with them. Well made and comfortable.

    • Answer a 2nd means there is a flaw in the product. As a general rule its good to avoid buying 2nds, as an unspecified flaw might be related to sub optimal materiel, so its hard to determine if its a really good deal for the seller or the buyer. Sometimes the flaw is inconsequential, such as a color that is not correct, or a crooked seam. So if you can spot the flaw and its inconsequential buying 2nds is not a bad way to go. But the lack of information makes buying 2nds dicey.

Be that is it may, but I love these socks. I bought a whole bunch more of them in different colors. In fact I'm wearing a brand new pair today.

Interestingly enough I was on Mt. Baldy last week for my birthday, and it was snowing on me, and I was wearing these socks, and I realized my feet were actually a little chilly. But it was windy and snowing and I was above 10K, wearing airy trail runners (and shorts of course, yes Ice-breaker sonics) and ice breaker shirts and I was comfy so long as I was moving. uffda!

But on my ride into work today, these socks were so comfy, and styling too.

    • Answer Hi; I have no idea what "2nds" means, I bought several pairs of these socks and as far as I can tell they are perfect in every way. Maybe the dye lot is off a bit, or something else, but I cannot see anything about then that isn't correct. BTW, these are about the best socks I've ever had! All Icebreaker products are amazing in my view, and do exactly what they are supposed to. They fit well, work well and seem to last forever !

      Good luck ! N.K.
