I ordered this for a field spaniel puppy and it may be on the small side for a full grown 28ish pound dog. I hoped it had a carrying handle - not mentioned in the item description - and was pleased to see one when it arrived.

This is only the second portable kennel we have owned. Clearly superior to the last one that is over 15 years old. Our 20-25 pound dog has plenty of room to stand and turn around. Needs assembly and comes with no instructions, but easy to figure out. Quality is fine and STP price is far below that of any other I could find on anything remotely comparable.

I work in rescue and constantly use my crates. I've had no problems with mine at all and got it at an excellent price. If I needed more, I'd buy these again. Thanks!

This is the thinnest kennel I have ever seen, the door is very hard to close...I would never ship a pup in one of these! I bought two to use in my van, and don't even feel comfortable using them for that. They'd be fine for small, kennel trained dogs who don't chew! Definately going back....

  • Question “Does it have a handle on top? Can you strap it in car for travel?”
Asked on 6/11/2014 5:43:21 AM by Nhighgears from Ak
    • Answer Yes, this has a handle on the top. There is nothing specifically made for it to be strapped into a car.

    • Answer Yes, there is a handle on top. We put the kennel in the middle of the back seat and run the seatbelt over the top, through the handle and down to the other side which secures the kennel adequately.
