Love this! Got it for my GSD pup. Will definitely be ordering from here again once this bed gets chewed. But so far so good; the fluff seems to be making it less appetising for her haha. I bought this from Australia and given the extra discount code, it was still such great value for money despite t... Read More

Unbelievably soft cover and a comfy therapeutic memory foam core combine to make my dogs' favorite bed. They try to scrunch together on it. Great buy!

We're not ones to review products, negatively or positively, but can't be silent on this one. We purchased three of these and one was promptly destroyed from "digging"-Nellie to blame, not the product. Company coming in, so time to launder the covers which as others have noted is supposed to be permissible, but the tag says "spot clean!"-oh please, really, spot cleaning a medium dog bed is definitely not our style. It gets better. When we opened both of the remaining the covers (which were in great shape) to remove them, the formerly solid foam inside was in kibble like pieces for the most part and not salvageable. We've not had them for that long, but expected more durability for the price-thank goodness for the STP discount or we'd have been even more disappointed.

Tags say to spot clean only. Pad sheds some at first. It's a nice pad for crate and floor.

  • Question “What is the difference from a memory foam and this orthopedic bed?”

Asked on 6/10/2014 9:01:02 PM by Nina from Ohio
    • Answer The inside of this bed is more like egg crate material, with a more dense foam in the middle. I included a photo.

    • Answer The AKC mat is comprised of composite (think particle board) chunks of foam, formed into a mat. The Memory foam is different product made of clear, new foam. Memory foam on human beds tends to trap heat and perspiration and I have not put them out for my guys (a pair of Newfs), as they even shy away from the AKC mats in warm weather. Thus for a crate, I don't think I would confine them on the heat-trapping memory foam; the AKC mat is probably OK in an enclosed cage.

    • Answer I have not opened it up but it feels like memory foam from the outside. I do know my dog really loves it.
