Bought 2 of these beds.....can't have enough dog beds when you can get them at such a good price. The dogs enjoy the soft cushiness & I like the quality. If their happy, I'm happy!

This crate mate fits perfectly in the oversized crate. However, it is very thin. My dog does not seem to like it. She has pulled it out of the crate several times. I got a good deal from Sierra Trading but would not recommend paying anything over a deeply discounted price.

Perfect size for her to spread out and/or curl up ~ keeps her on her side of the bed! Love it

Our beauty seems to enjoy the bed very much. Dog bed is as we expected. Low to ground, not very thick, with a 3" bumper around perimeter to keep him nestled in!

For some reason my dog had destroyed this mat within an hour of me taking it out of the packaging. I have two other dog beds for him that he has never even tried to damage. I don't know if it's the material it's made of or what other issue it could be.

  • Question “does this have a cushion in the entire mat bottom, or is it just around the edges? thank you !”
Asked on 3/31/2015 11:23:00 PM by Laughter from NW Missouri
    • Answer One would have to be very generous to call the bottom of the mat a "cushion". It's probably about a quarter inch of padding between the plush top and thin bottom layers. Nonetheless, my white Lab seems to love it so I guess it's adequate.

    • Answer This AKC mat only has the cushion around the edge. The bottom is the same plush fabric covering a cheap "skid proof " bottom. The smaller mat size was okay for the smaller dogs but I did not like how weak & flimsy the extra large mat was & returned it. The smaller mats have held up nicely & wash well.

    • Answer This is cushioned only along the edges. It is very well-made and sturdy though. It also washes well.

    • Answer It is like a thin quilted blanket on the bottom, with most of the cushion on the sides. The side cushions help keep it in place. My dogs have been fine with this for 9 years. They love the "cave/den" of the crate, and don't care what is on the bottom.
