So, I am a larger lady. 220 and 6ft tall. I am in martial arts. So these rock. you can squat and they are light fabric. Cooler. I also just a got a bike. And hey wouldn't ya know it, the shorts with removable liner kick butt too. I thought I was going to toss em, but they fit fantastic. I actually wear those under my bike pants. I wear a size 18 womens and liner fits nice, not too tight. If you are a 16 ladies this will be too big for you. I am not too keen on it kinda being see thru on the butt without the liner shorts. Butt I planned on designing and writing stuff on the back with grey color. These shorts are stretchy. The all black ones in pic look like my motorcycle jacket with a whole bunch of holes and looks like it would snag. I got the white black ones bc fabric in pic looked solid and not as airey. So zoom in folks. Fabric is different between colors. As a lady I am going to do a no cut sew on the front for it to not be so baggy. Bring up the black into the waist band so shorter in crotch. Remember, if you like it, alter it. If I loose weight I will bring in outer thigh with no cut method. Might use as swim suit with bikini under it.

If you know a lady, get her into martial arts. She will love it. We need more women in the sport.

Price is worth it just for the shorts liner. Do yourself a favor and get a two for one.

Very comfortable and has a clean look. Can be use with or without the chamois is a huge plus which makes it a lot more versatile than some bike shots. Not the best designed Velcro strap but overall I am very satisfied with the performance giving it's price tag.

Great shorts, very comfy.....but after a couple uses the velcro on the sides don't stay in place anymore making the shorts loose and scratching you. They will drive you crazy. Avoid them

Great shorts--hands down the best-fitting MTB I've yet tried (see list above) and one of the very best in terms of quality of construction. Of the many pairs of mtb baggies I own and I have to say, these are the first ones I look for when I'm going on both short and long rides. I particularly appreciate their simplicity and superlightweight, coupled with sound construction of much more durable materials than all other "lightweight" and form-fitting shorts I've tried. I don't much care for pockets when I'm on the bike, though I do occasionally miss having some place to put my hands when I'm off the bike. These shorts are definitely right in there with the typical high quality of design and construction I've always experienced with Pearl Izumi products. Highly Recommended; GET THESE!

I'm replacing my PI shorts for 6 years ago. I have loved the comfort and durability of the shorts. These shorts are just as nice as the old one.
The snap in liner is handy- Side velcro adjustment option is pretty nice. Can't wait to ride in them.

Only problem is i'm a 34 waist- The siding for medium is too small and large is a tad big- I'll find a way to fill the large up.
