Yes, lightweight and breathable. I wear it bicycling for temps under 50 degrees. Not for 30 degrees.

Needs to be bigger to fit a normal guy who's 6 feet, 190 lbs. Might be a tad on the lightweight side for use in the Northeast winter. Otherwise appears well constructed and made of good material: should last a long time.

This is a decent balaclava, except that it doesn't fit smoothly over my head and would likely leave a 'lump' that would be uncomfortable under a river helmet. For skiing, it would probably be great.

They are thin and work perfectly under a ski helmet and goggles. I would not wear one by itself on a very cold day. Outstanding price.

got it on sale for very cheap. it's it lightweight and squishes up nice and tight to fit easily in your coat pocket when needed. Made out of a breathable mesh synthetic material. Does what it's supposed to. Can't complain.
