I have had one since 1996. Once I left the house with a pound of burgers cooking in here. Lid on. Between this pan ans my Ventahood my house did not burn down. And thankfully the fire dept left it on the porch. I still use it all the time.

These Pans are made of high quality Material and should withstand many years of hard use. They are somewhat on the heavy side; but that's what makes them withstand long use.

I've been a Calphalon fan for years and have been looking for a pan like this for a while. Rock-solid construction and this matches my set, although I prefer the older hard-anodized lids over the newer glass ones. This pan does NOT have a non-stick coating, which is what I wanted. Looking forward to using this for many years.

We purchased this pan to replace an older (store brand) non-stick pan, as we are trying to get away from the non-stick coatings wherever possible. It is wonderful! We also own a large Le Creuset cast iron frying pan, and while they both have their place in our kitchen, I like this one best. Be sure to read the enclosed instructions before using & it will work really well for you!

Well made pan and lid, with a solid feel. Good heat distribution, non-stick appears durable and cleans easily.

  • Question “Induction compatible?”

Asked on 11/19/2015 9:32:27 PM by MT girl from MT
    • Answer Unfortunately non-magnetic metals aren't compatible with induction stoves and aluminum, anodized or not, is not magnetic.
Answered on 11/20/2015 9:51:29 AM by Ed from Broadview Heights
    • Answer This is an aluminum pan, which is not able to work with induction stoves. In order for a pan to be induction compatible the metal must be a magnetic metal.
