I don't usually spend this much on a jacket, but I'm glad I did. It is really warm and very pretty. I wore it to a festival in the mountains and a person in the fashion industry complimented it. I wasn't sure I'd like the neckline, but when unsnapped, it lays nicely and is not awkward. When it's cold, it keeps your neck warm. I found it a good length. I was also skeptical about the snaps, as I do like zippers. But they work easily and are a good choice for the fabric. The only negative is, it sheds slightly. I am hoping this will diminish the more I wear it. It isn't profuse, but I did find a few loose hairs where they didn't belong.

I really like alpaca coats & this one was a perfect addition to my winter wardrobe. It is light enough to wear a sweater under & it is crafted with ease of wear because it has snap buttons, yet it is elegant for a special evening. I plan to wear it to work & but will be perfect for a night out! This coat is not fitted, so it just drapes over you, so it does not flatter body's shape. The color is between a white and ivory. It feels lighter than those big winter wool sweaters. I liked it a lot, even though, some pleats would have made it even cuter.
