This unit is a great little American made product. I was thinking it was only going to be large enough to put a 16 oz. bottle in; but it can accommodate (I think a 22 oz. bottle. I tried to see if a bottle of Pinot would fit, but alas...just a little too small! Even still, a handy little bottle hold... Read More

It nicely fits a liter bottle and the strap is real sturdy along with the color being really bright. A good buy.

It fits the average stainless steel quart/liter water bottles well. The quality of the materials and workmanship is excellent. It is however not insulated nor is the carry strap adjustable, both features are available at the Canadian G.I. carrier - those would have been good features. I gave it 3 stars - however if one doesn't need insulation or adjustability in the strap, this is a fine carrier. I however like to put ice cubes into my bottle in summer and hot tea in winter. I also like my bottle exactly where I want it. And that just makes the Canadian army issue carrier unmatched. I also like the circumference adjustment/utility strap on the Canadian carrier.

This is a good idea, but I'm undecided about the unadjustable shoulder strap. I would carry this shooting and am not fond of anything complicating my chest and shoulders. If the strap could be lengthened or fixed around my waist, I might be more inclined to keep it; but being 6'3" it rides kinda high and might need to go back. Otherwise, high quality canvas that yields a perfect recollection of US Army canvas.

I might pick up another one, considering STP's price point.
