I bought this coat because I wanted a coat made entirely of natural fibers. It seems very well constructed. Very heavy coat. I've never had an oiled coat before so don't know if, at some point, the fabric will lose the oily/sticky feeling. Sure hope so. The only thing I don't like is that the pockets are zippered with a very aggressively toothed zipper. They're very sharp against my hands when putting them in the pocket.
As far as sizing....the coat was purchased as a large and all seems to be correct except for the arm pit area. It's very tight there. Not enough room to wear anything bulky...so layering may not be an option. I'm still not sure if I will keep the coat yet.
I am giving the coat 4 stars since most of my "complaints" really are due to my personal fussiness and nothing to do with the quality of the material or craftsmanship.
