First, a litte to heavy. I would like to have more usable weight for my goods rather than a heavy bag. But On the positive side, rock solid, heavy duty, tough material, lots of individual storage compartments. The large bag could almost double as a tent, it's roomy. The wheels are there to stay.. They could be used on a long board. This is not your run of the mill black suit case that is in great abundance at every baggage claim area. It screams " throw me, drop me, drag me upside down, let me fall off the baggage cart, abuse me and I will come through it all with a smile on my face for years to come".
    No regrets.

This is a great suitcase for the cost. Especially if you are a world traveler/tourist. When you are in and out of airports touring the world you need a suitcase that will stand up to the abuse of conveyor belts, baggage handlers, and taxi drivers. Granted, the trade off is that this bag is a bit heavier. You could get a lighter bag with the same durability but it's going to cost you $200-$300 dollars more and you're only going to get a bag that is 3-4 pounds lighter.

If you are just travelling every couple years or so, you with a cheaper bag with wheels. This one is probably too heavy and too costly to be justify the cost for your use.

In addition, the extra few inches in length will make it easier to pack posters, paintings, and other long souvenirs. Before I got this suitcase I always found that one souvenir just wouldn't fit in the bag. I haven't had that problem with this bag but that may be because I'm getting better at picking and sizing souvenirs.

This bag weighs 10 pounds. Check in size limit is 50 pounds for airlines. So 20% of your weight is the bag itself.
