Upon the recommendation of our puppy trainer, a local judge (who is a big supporter of the local pet rescues), and our vet, we started using the Easy Walk harness with our golden doodle who is very strong and thinks he's in charge of our walks. I have a 27 lb. dog who likes to pull on the morning walk. The harness is easy to put on and of good quality construction, but will snag hair on long-haired dogs due to the type of stitching. Because of the front chest leash ring, it can be awkward to use. It does a godd job with the pulling and I've tried putting in on with the leash ring on top of her back - this also worked fairly well and we had fewer leash tangles. The leash fabric is rough - use a leather lead instead.

These are such good quality. Paid $29 for like harness at store and like this one at STP better.
I thought it would be light weight for the price but will have no problems using it to train my 70 lb 1 year old German Shepherd.
I bought the large and have it almost completely cinched in, so plenty of room for growth.
Bonus leash included....

My dog is a 28# Westie and the Medium might be a tad too big, but the small/medium would be too small. He houdini'ed out of the harness, but I think I just need to tighten the straps. And my dog didn't want to go in the house...so resisted a lot. It's super cold and snowy here right now , so I think when it finally warms up and we can really go on a walk, it will be great. I like the no choke benefit with this harness.
You would want to measure Charlie's girth around the thickest part of his chest. If you hover your mouse over or click on the sizes the corresponding girth size will appear. I.E. Sizes Available: L (Girth 26 IN-36 IN, LABS-GOLDENS)
