These plates are solidly made and attractive. Somewhere between diner tough and bistro chic. One note, they are kinda small. "Steak plates" really means just for a steak - one food item.     These plates are solidly made and attractive. Somewhere between diner tough and bistro chic. One note, they are kinda small. "Steak plates" really means just for a steak - one food item. They would hold a nice NY Strip, or maybe boneless ribeye, but a t-bone would be a problem. You can tell from the pic that the knife and fork barely fit on the plate. These plates are fun and good for small meals, breakfast, or single/dual items. I enjoy them and will be buying the larger version too.
