This is a very nice jacket with lots of features (e.g. many zippered pockets, velcro wrist adjustment, chin guard for main zipper). It is well made and looks nice. I ended up returning this jacket because it is more optimized for biking than what I am looking for in a casual jacket. Specifically, the jacket is short in the front and long in the rear, which is great for biking, but I thought looked a bit strange for a causal around-town jacket. I am 6 ft tall, 175 lbs, and the Large fit perfectly.

It was fabulous: a good, solid feel and considerable warmth without bulk. It is perfect for being on a bike. As a result, it is not so perfect for not being on a bike: it is cut short in front to avoid unwanted layers of material as you bend over, and long in the back to cover the break between jersey and shorts. The pockets are hands, something many biking coats seem to forget. This is a winner.

Very well constructed. Very warm but light. High visibility color. Great value at STP.

I purchased this jacket to wear for fall riding and hiking. I wore it last week at 42 degrees with just a wicking long sleeve base layer and a cotton turtle neck under. I was warm enough to enjoy the ride, I was a little cool on the first downhill at 35 mph, but warmed up immediately with an uphill and then I was comfortable for the next 20 miles. I did run into some light rain and it did not soak through. I like it, I just wish they would make a larger size for women, I had to buy a mans to get one big enough, I think the sleeves would be a little shorter if I could fit the womens sizes, but I just roll them up.

I was really surprised by the poor quality of this jacket. Cheap construction, cheap materials, bad design. The moment I took this out of the box, I was surprised with the poor quality edge stitching along the seams - a simple loop stich over the raw cut edges. No seam binding anywhere. Plus, the stitching was already frayed and snagged. The fabric felt like plastic, and yes, while it did stretch, it didn't breathe at all. Back pocket zippers were awkwardly placed, zipper closure at neck didn't line-up. Best, though, was the exterior stick-on patch pocket on the upper left sleeve was crooked and peeled half off when I tried the jacket on. I may have gotten a lemon in terms of the pocket, but that doesn't explain the otherwise unacceptable quality.

I'm relatively certain I'll never consider another product from this brand again. Return and refund.
