I was hesitant to order this jacket as there was only one other review, and I wasn't certain about sizing. Fortunately I'd read the jacket runs slightly small. This jacket is great with many high quality touches. The small fits me well (I'm 5'4", 120lbs, size 6). I recommend this highly.

My experience with Columbia apparel has shown that it tends to run small. This time, I ordered up a size, which was a mistake. It was huge on me. Additionally, the arms were very long.

I bought this as a gift for my wife. She's very happy with the quality, appearance and features - vents, adjustable everywhere, comfy liner, etc. But the jacket seems to run small. Other light jackets and raincoats she owns are womens medium size, but we had to exchange this one for an XL to get it to fit. At 5,"4", 125 lbs. and a daily runner, she is no XL. Now, she did want it to fit a little loose so a fleece or sweatshirt could be worn underneath, but I think this particular jacket has a more "slim sport sizing" or whatever they call it, as compared to normal sizing. So I would recommend you check the actual "sport sizing" chart, measure all the dimensions of the person who will wear it, and account for a fleece under if you think you'll wear it that way. Otherwise, great jacket at a great price!

I was hesitant to order this jacket as there was only one other review, and I wasn't certain about sizing. Fortunately I'd read the jacket runs slightly small. I'm normally a large or Xlarge (size 14) and I definitely needed the Xlarge to accommodate layering. If you're between sizes as I often am, recommend sizing up. The hood is adjustable both in the front & back, plus the brim keeps rain out of your face or can be turned back if wearing it as a windbreaker. The pockets have zippers with sealed seams and are lined with warm material. A generously sized inner pocket w/keep personal items dry. The inside material of the jacket is breathable so doesn't cause sweat but is also warm, comfortable, and lightweight. Zippers under the arms add extra ventilation if needed. Well-made even though it's imported - but what isn't these days? The zip up neck provides good wind/rain block. The sleeves are long but the wrists have velcro adjustments so no water will get in there. Love, love, love this jacket as most raincoats are hot & humid - this is cool, lightweight, yet warm in those biting winds. Price was also right as I've seen much poorer quality at a higher cost. And the jacket is stylish enough to be worn as a windbreaker when you don't need a heavy coat. Can't remember when I've been so pleased with quality & price in clothing. Unless you need top of the line gear such as when hiking in torrential downpours, this jacket should suit your needs. ;-)

I bought this jacket in the black size L, since another Columbia jacket I tried on in a XL was too big (I wear about a 12-14 depending on fit, 5'7" and a C cup). This jacket looked very nice, I liked the cut of it, but when zipped up it was snug on my chest and mid section. Couldn't layer much if I needed to. But the sleeves were a good fit and length was good coverage, hood was fine also with adjustable cords and such. The fabric is nice and isn't very loud when walking. The interior is not a net lining, but instead the fabric has a grey lining that is waterproof/breathable. I'm sure that it would be very waterproof just looking at it, though I didn't test it out, the seams look good and the jacket appears well made.
