there were some harsh reviews on this product but I knew someone with one already so I went ahead and purchased it. The first fill of butane it struggled but now it fires up and works just as it should. Maybe just needed time to warm into it. Really pleased now though

I have taken this on three overnight camping trips, and all three times it hasn't worked for me in the mountains, but in Denver it works like a charm. Disappointing at best.

Went camping in the Uinta mountains a couple weeks ago. Both my brother and I took one of these. They both worked great at home, but not once we reached our yurts. The temp was in the low 20's. They both worked great once we got home again. They did now work after we had left them in the fridge for a bit. Just plan on a warm storm I guess if you want them stormproof. Once warm they worked great in the wind, and the have a fairly decent fuel capacity. Mine stayed dry when I subjected it to water (with the lid clamped closed). They are easy to adjust the flame size as well.
