I bought this for my husband so he could bike outside during cold weather. Each time he's worn the jacket, he comments on how warm and comfortable it is.

This is a truly fantastic piece of cycling apparel. I'd tried to get by in the past using a lighter shell or nylon running jacket for cold weather cycling. What a difference using a proper cold weather technical jacket. This jacket has been very solid so far in temperatures in the 40s and 50s. Soon enough I will use it in the 30s. There is a great review of this jacket on a British cycling website that sold me on it (http://road.cc/content/review/76346-mavic-echappee-jacket). It fit true to size based on chest size. I'm not built like a French or Italian world class cyclist so I'm quite a bit broader in the midsection. The jacket is snug but there is still room for layers. The STP price was unbeatable. The jacket's many features (zips, vents, tapered sleeves, rear pockets) are evidence that a great deal of thought went into its design and production. If you are looking for a well designed, technical, cold weather outer layer for your winter rides, I do not think you can go wrong with the Mavic Echappee cycling jacket.

Its still too early for this jacket but it is technically well designed with great features/fabric, and I expect it to be a great jacket at a great price.

I titled this product "incomplete" because it hasn't gotten cold enough to wear for riding yet. I wanted to give you feedback on sizing and quality. It runs a little small. I am 5'11" and 190 lbs and the XL fits tight but comfortable. It seems like a high quality jacket. I can't wait for the colder weather so I can use it!
