I bought these for my son and he loves them. He is a big 6 (3weeks to 7) year old and the small 7-8 fits him well. These are so much better than the old waffle style thermals. These stretch to fit all sizes of growing kids and go great under clothes for being outside and moving around. They have als... Read More

We live in the San Francisco Bay Area where the mornings can be chilly. My 8 year old loves to wear this shirt to school because it is warm enough for the morning under a hoodie and then is good to keep the sun off his arms after school. We have also found it is a good layer for outdoor spring hikes in Lake Tahoe.

Bought a large for my skinny 13 yo, seems like a compression fit, the shirt is really short, to about his belly button.

Love these for under ski clothes or cold and rainy baseball practice! Run a little on the larger side, so don't size up. My smallish 8 year old has plenty of room to grow in the 7-8.

  • Question “Is this a midweight or lighter?”

Asked on 7/10/2016 8:13:38 PM by Countrygirlinthecity from SoCal and Id
    • Answer I would call it light to mid weight.
Answered on 7/10/2016 8:21:50 PM by Thundertoad from Omaha
    • Answer Definitely mid weight. My mom bought a set for my son at Costco this year that was way lighter. My son actually wears both when we needs a lot of warmth. Very pleased with the quality of these.

    • Answer More of a lightweight base. I'd put it in the silk weight type of category.
