I bought the Granite Gear's Dog Clogs trail shoes despite the poor reviews, because the price was right and I had a hunch they would work for my Golden Doodle. I was desperate to find something to prevent pain from ice jams that make her paws bleed and city street salt that makes her yelp and limp. ... Read More

After three different sizes, the large fits him the best.
Would prefer some instructions on how to keep them from slipping forward while being worn.
Could use a bit more material for either the stretch upper or the sides as there's no complete coverage.
Finally, if the tops were taller, I could tug in more of his coat on his lower legs.
They're wonderful for city walking and the quality is superb.

Got these for my service dog for walking in rocks at my sons baseball games. No more slow walks( but still getting use to them ;))

I bought another set of Granite Gear dog clogs, as the medium set didn't fit our dog's rear feet well. The small set works better on her rear feet, so she will wear two mediums on her front feet and two smalls on her rear feet. We haven't tried them yet as the snow is disappearing.

I measured my dog's feet several times and ordered the XL. They were ridiculously huge, especially in width. They would not stay on, even when I cinched the velcro very tight. I use other booties quite successfully with my dog, but not these ones. I returned them and would not recommend them.

These boots were just what I was looking for, velcro straps, rubber soles and well made (sold at REI). I have a pretty typical size-large golden retriever (about 70-80lbs). I first ordered the large, and couldn't begin to get them on her feet, the openings were so small. (This size might fit an Aussie or border collie) Exchanging them for the x-large, unfortunately her feet swim in them (they look like they might fit a St. Bernard). I'm disappointed, and wish there was a true "large". If you have a medium size dog, the large will be great!
