My 5 year old puts these on without help and says they are comfy. I like how the tongue actually lifts up and is not attached all the way up like some kid shoes. When the strap is open you can actually pull the tongue up to get little feet in.

My 4 year old loves these shoes and wore his first pair almost everyday until he grew out of them. The old ones are still in great shape.

Bought these for my son. He's worn them off and on for a few weeks now, going to the store, out to dinner type wear. Hasn't worn them to go play outside, yet the shoe lace which is not "real" - it's just there for looks, anyway, one tore off. Maybe my son stretches the shoe too much to put them on, I don't know but I expected the shoes to last longer than this! I would recommend "real" tie shoes and forego these.

My 6 Yr old loves them. They do have some quality issues the rubber teva tag has already come off after only 3 days, There is some loose stitching which arrived that way. We will se how long they last. As of now he loves them and wants to wear them over his teva sandals.

My boy loved these shoes for its great looks and comfort. However, they didn't stand up to the normal wear and tear of an averagely active kid. The suede leather is very thin and delicate. I'm somewhat disappointed that they quickly looked shabby and then fell apart after only a couple of weeks. I expected to get a bit more mileage from this shoe.
