I have the feeling that the scarf is itchy on my skin and I am missing the luxurious soft, warm cashmere feeling.

I am going it return this scarf.

I think this might be best categorized as a summer scarf, due to how lightweight it is. If you hold it up to light, you can totally see through it. It's most likely use for me is as a summer shawl, not as winter neckwear... although I realize that some folks will love that it's not bulky and maybe it will work better for them at a lighter weight.

I had noticed the width of the scarf, and though it would make a good shawl/scarf. But yeah, in the summer, not in the winter for me.

Additionally, I am surprised at how coarse the fibers are, which I didn't expect of cashmere. I don't really want this around my neck. I think there should be some way to wash this out a bit, though of course that needs to be done carefully to avoid shrinkage (and perhaps color loss). If I get around to exploring this soon, I will post again.
