They are beyond comfortable, and at the same time, I feel like I could walk through land mines and still be safe. Very rugged but very comfortable. So good that I went and bought another pair in a different color. I wade through water, snow, ice and more. They will be well used.

Straight out of the box, these boots felt broken in. I have a pair of OLD Lowa boots that I have been wearing all year because I tried to save money by buying a pair of Asolo hiking boots. They killed my feet, so I went back to using them until these boots went on sale. The first hike I used them on was 2.5 mile and 4,000 ft of elevation gain. The only thing that hurt were my knees coming down. My heels and toes felt great. No blisters to be felt or found. These are the best boots ever. I also have a pair of Lowa ascent boots (the most comfortable and warm things ever) and a pair of Lowa hiking shoes. I won't ever stray from my Lowa's again!

    • Answer I order a half size down with all my Lowa shoes and boots. I did with these and they fit perfectly with room for thicker socks.
