I used this today while climbing 2 Mountains over 4,000 feet in elevation and it worked perfectly! I did have 1 minor setback though. I filled it up with water and found out that the hose and/or valve doesn't work. Disappointing.

I was disappointed in the strapping system. I purchased another brand hydration pack at the same time which I am happier with. This will go back.

I am a big fan of camel bak hydration ... and have several bladders in various packs. This is a single unit. There is no room for anything else, no keys, no nothing. The sack is insulated and light enough to strap this on a pack, which is why I bought it.. but to lower weight I removed it from the sack... That's not advisable as the opening is for this bag only.. it's a high-profile closure as you see in the image. In other words, this one goes as it is... a pack with no pockets and only water. Cool, accept that and you've got an expensive water bottle. STP has much better deals on Camelbak with a tiny bit, a greater amount or a fully packable unit. I won't buy this particular unit again because it is exclusively an insulated water bottle and is not versatile enough for me. A well made and good pack otherwise.

I used this today while climbing 2 Mountains over 4,000 feet in elevation and it worked perfectly! I did have 1 minor setback though. When we started it was minus 12 degrees and the water in the mouth piece was frozen the first time I tried to use it. I just popped the mouthpiece off and placed it between my hands and rolled it until the ice melted. After that I made sure to use it every 10 minutes or so and that prevented it from freezing again. My pack has a pocket for this in it and it is against my back so the warmth from my back saved the water bladder from freezing. This was an amazing deal and I would suggest it to anyone that asks me about a hydration pack.
