I love these shorts....they are very breathable, lightweight and quick drying. The pockets are of good size and I like that the cargo pocket has a zipper.
The dark pair is a cross between dark blue and black.

I usually wear size 6P in pants, but lately have found size 6 shorts to be far too large for me. I ordered four different brands of size 4 shorts from STP, hoping at least one would fit--which is exactly what I got. One pair, the Mountain Hardwear Campina short, fits perfectly. This short, the Ramesa in size 4, fits as if it is a size 6 or larger, odd since both originate from the same manufacturer. The Ramesa's fabric is light and soft but not flimsy, and the style is attractive, but the waist band is far too roomy. I can't believe I might need to order a size 2. My waist and hip measurements indicate that I am size 4-6 on every size chart I've ever seen. I wish clothing manufacturers would do a better job of standardizing garment sizes, so that clothes shopping could be less time consuming and annoying.

Size 6 was roomy on me (5'6", 130 lb.). Now, at Sierra Trading Post prices, sometimes I'm happy just to add a belt or do a little sewing to get a better fit. But these shorts were also a low-rise style, which is a no-go for me. Nice colors, nice fabric, but not the right fit.

I ordered these shorts in a size 4 - my usual size in most clothing. These were quite large. I do not want to pay the shipping to send them back, so I will keep them. I will use a belt to keep them up. I like the style, color and feel of these, but wish they fit me a little better. Quality is great.

I love the shorts in terms of the color and material. The green/blue is very soothing. The material is light and quick-drying, but not too thin. The length is terrific for hiking and biking - a few inches above my knee. My only complaint is that they run small. I am 5'6", 128 pounds, and usually wear a size 4. But the 4's are tight. I would have been more comfortable in a size 6 in these shorts. I am now trying to lose a few pounds so that these shorts will fit more comfortably. The zipper pocket is great!

I ordered these shorts in size 8 and 10, since I often fall between sizes. The 8's fit great. I am 5'4" and often find the inseam too long, but the 5" inseam are perfect. I am looking forward to wearing these for outdoor work and hiking this summer.
