These shorts are so adorable and comfortable! I read all the reviews on sizing before buying these and just hoped for the best. The length is great and the waist band is soft - very promising for the "no-chaff" aspect I was looking for after experiencing some rubbed-raw hips from another pair during a recent backpacking trip. However, the size is much too large. I ordered a 2. I wear a two in almost everything else (a 4 in PrAna). They are HUGE. Even with a belt, they are going to gather pretty decently. Still debating whether it's worth the money to send them back or not. For reference, I am 5'6.5" and 125lbs and my figure is pretty straight.

I wanted to love these shorts. They are nice and lightweight, and I love the fact that they are UPF 50. I ordered a size 2, which is what I typically wear in Mountain Hardwear shorts/pants, but they were falling off. I am 5'5 and 110lbs. If you are going to order, I'd suggest ordering a size down.

The vert color is sort of a prison wall green, not the olive I imagined from the picture. The fit was fine, and the fabric seems light-weight and nice enough, but they were just terribly unflattering. If all you want is bumming around the house shorts, they're a decent buy, but not particularly special.
