Yep, the bra is NOT sewn in. You just line it up with Where the Girl Live, arrange the straps and get in. If the built-in bra were actually sewn into the dress, it wouldn't drape as well or be as comfortable without the additional airflow, right? Seriously, the payoff when the dress is actually on i... wow - what an awful dress! i usually LOVE mh dresses because they fit well, are comfortable, and are flattering. this one just makes me laugh - trying to figure out how to put it on, looking in the mirror and seeing how it flattens & drops my chest, magnifies my gut, and makes my hips look lumpy. omg i can't send this back fast enough.

All the reviews mention the built-in bra -- yes it is tricky! But seriously, is that a reason to toss aside a fun sundress? Just put it on and shift it around until it's right! I wish the fabric was a bit heavier because it will show bulges and panty lines, but it is truly a fun summer dress.

Throw this into a suitcase in a ball and this dress will be good to go when you arrive at the beach. The built in bra is a bit hard to figure out, but it works. Love the fabric and the purple color!

Pretty dress (once you get it on)! However there is too much material in the chest area and gapes at the sides beneath the armpits. I'm hoping I can get this tailored and all will be fixed. I really like the quick-dry material and plan to wear this on day hikes.
