One minor note is that the tag does bother the back of my neck. I will remove the tag and have an awesome, thin for layering, lightweight fleece jacket.

Okay, we live in NH. We wear a LOT of fleece. I bought this for my teen son on a super sale from STP last spring, but I would buy it again at twice the price. The quality of this fleece is superior to many of the 'performance' fleece tops and jackets we've bought from other retailers. The fabric is incredibly soft and lightweight, but also dense (if that makes sense) and doesn't seem to pill. My son often needs a size Large Tall because he's just over 6 feet with a long torso, but this in a regular Large fits him beautifully. Nicely cut and well made. I wish I'd bought him two!

Owning several fleece jackets and vests that were fairly warm ... until the wind made them disappear, I came across the Woolrich products at Sierra. Over the last three years, I have purchased several pairs of pants (very hard to find in Medium), and 3 vests, 2 jackets, and a pullover. While it normally does not get extremely cold here in Houston, on chilly nights with a stiff wind, the Woolrich does a great job. On a recent night, I started out wearing a heavy bison leather jacket wtih a hat at a motor racing event. Fortunately, I had one of my Woolrich vests stashed in my truck. I went from being very uncomfortable, to thoroughly enjoying the remainder of the night.

Size wise, I have found the large jackets and vest to fit rather snugly, which I prefer. The pants tend to run a little large, however. I'm 6' and 200 lbs, and have found a large top and medium pant to be ideal.

I bought it for a layer -which it fits perfectly for under the Mountain Hardware jacket. Haven't really needed it yet for that though- it's been very wet here since I got it - and it just wouldn't work as an outer layer in anything wet.

The price was awesome - and I'm sure I'll be happy with it when it gets a little colder. If it's anything like last year - it'll get a lot of use. Hopefully it'll stay in the closet all winter :)

Have always had great results when owning Woolrich Branded outerwear. This Micro-Fleece Jacket seems to get softer each time I pull it from the dryer. Plus if you are from a pet occupied household as we have sheepdogs, you fellow pet lovers, it does not attract and hold pet hair as bad as traditional fleece. The Woolrich quality speaks loudly. As for sizing pre & post laundry, very true to size. STP makes this micro-fleece jacket very affordable both via holiday promotional deal flyers & STP regular pricing stills gives you a solid deal. Have purchased 2, one for our NY Fall days raking leaves, etc, & our Fl Gulf Coast Beach walk sunset evening strolls.
