The handmade flask is enjoyable to look at and using it adds to the experience. It's slight imperfections lets me know that a craftsman produced it rather than being punched out of an assembly line. The presentation box ensures protection. I hope to pass it on when I'm gone.

The slight imperfections really make this flask so unique (one spot has some rough looking soldering but not a deal breaker).
Based on reviews I was expecting the birch wood stopper to be useful for display only. To my surprise I was able to hold the flask upside down with no leaks. I wouldn’t trust it in a suit case but in a jacket pocket there would be no problem. (Warning the birch wood stopper swells overnight and may require pliers to remove from neck).
I bought this flask solely because 99% of all other flasks are made in China. The flasks made in china don’t necessary use food safe stainless steel throughout the entire flask (ie the cap).
I was super impressed when I got this flask it looks awesome and feels indestructible. I am a cheap guy and I can say this flask was worth the extra money.

Okay, so some people will want a flask with a cleaner look, smoother edges, etc. BUT - this is made right. I just love this flask. I bought two. I expect they will last forever. If you can get them on sale at STP - it's unbeatable. No way is there anything out there made this well that comes close for under a hundred bucks.

It's a handmade copper flask - no surprises. It is slightly heavier than expected, as there is more metal that I am used to with today's cheap mass produced products. At the STP price, this is an absolute steal. I could hardly be happier.

Really interesting design. Feels pretty sturdy, and holds booze. Smells like a penny, but doesn't pass taste on. FYI copper sterilizes.
No chain for the stoppers (contact Bromwell Co. and they will sell you one for 50$ a piece). And speaking of, the wood one is not leak proof unless you jam it into the flask, and the cork one tore apart on me when I tried to pull it straight out. If you are giving as a gift I'd recommend making your own corks.
Other than that, its a beautiful piece and for some might belong more in a display case than actually being used. However, I picked one up for 50$, so the price makes up for it.
