Bought these for a 87 year old with severe plantar fasciitis. He doesnt want to take them off. He now says the only time his feet dont hurt is when they are on. Its not necessarily this show, just the incorporation of the Northotic that I highly recommend NF shoes.

I was really excited about how light these shoes are and they are and they were comfortable at first as well. Unfortunately, they didn't last 50 miles before losing 100% of their tread which has made running on trails more similar to running on angled ice. I really wanted to like them but I can't afford new shoes every few weeks. The stitching was also starting to fall apart on mine and my friend's TNF hiking boots which leads me to believe The North Face should stay out of shoes.

These trail running shoes do not have the thick rubber sole of most trail running shoes. The sole is thin and firm but surprisingly comfortable. At first I was going to send them back because I was wanting a more soft and comfortable sole for trail running. I decided to try them and they worked well. The shoe fits well with adequate width as well as the length being a true size. This is a good shoe, bang for the buck.

this is pretty nice shoe. A little light weight for me. Will make a great summer shoe. I have only worn them twice but over all I am pretty happy with them.
